Work Where Your Team Works
Marketing work happens in conversations. Your team discusses product updates in Slack. Someone shares a rough idea for a campaign. Another person mentions a customer insight that could be a great blog topic. These conversations are rich with context and intent—but they rarely become actual marketing deliverables.
Until now.
Today we're launching Quotient's native Slack integration. Your AI marketing team now works where your actual team works. No more copying prompts between tools. No more leaving Slack to check campaign status. Just @mention Quotient in any channel or thread, and your AI marketing agents jump in with full context about the conversation.
The Context Switching Problem
We've watched this pattern play out hundreds of times: Someone shares a great marketing idea in Slack. The team discusses it, refines it, gets excited about it. Then... nothing happens. The idea gets buried in the thread. Following through means opening another tool, recreating the context, and turning conversation into work.
The friction is subtle but deadly. Context switching kills momentum. By the time you've copied details into your marketing platform or prompted ChatGPT separately, the energy is gone. Most "nice to have" marketing ideas never get executed because the translation step is too annoying.
Marketing Work That Happens In The Conversation
Quotient's Slack integration eliminates that friction entirely. Your AI marketing agents are now native members of your Slack workspace. They see full thread context, understand attached files, and turn conversations directly into marketing deliverables.
The experience is simple. @mention Quotient anywhere:
"@quotient draft a blog post about this product update"
"@quotient turn this thread into an email announcement"
"@quotient create a campaign for our spring launch"
"@quotient write social posts for this news"
The agent reads the entire thread—not just your @mention—and starts working. You'll see typing indicators as the agent thinks. Then the agent responds with a preview card showing the blog draft, email, or campaign it created. Click through to the full deliverable in Quotient to review and refine.
What Makes This Different
This isn't a chatbot that lives in your Slack. This is your actual Quotient agents—the ones that know your brand, understand your products, and have created your past campaigns—now accessible wherever your team talks.
Full Thread Context
When you @mention Quotient, the agent sees every message in that thread. Not just your prompt, but the entire conversation leading up to it. Product spec shared five messages back? The agent already read it. Customer feedback mentioned earlier? Already incorporated.
This is fundamentally different from pasting prompts into ChatGPT. You're not manually curating context—the agent automatically absorbs the conversation and uses it as the foundation for your work.
Rich Deliverable Cards
When an agent creates a blog, email, or campaign, you get a rich preview card right in Slack showing the deliverable with its title, status, and preview. Click through to open it in Quotient's full editor. The integration makes deliverables tangible and actionable without forcing you out of Slack.
Seamless Sync
Everything stays in sync. Conversations you start in Slack appear in your Quotient inbox. Work you do in the web app updates in Slack. You can jump between platforms seamlessly.
Campaign Management From Slack
Beyond creating individual deliverables, you can manage entire campaigns without leaving Slack. Check status, assign tasks, and coordinate work through natural conversation:
"@quotient what's the status of our product launch campaign?"
"@quotient will we be ready to launch by Friday?"
The agent pulls real-time data from your campaigns, shows you what's in progress and what's blocked, and helps coordinate the team. Campaign management becomes a conversation, not a dashboard.
More Things Become Worth Doing
What I'm most excited about is how this changes the economics of marketing work. Ideas that used to feel like "nice to haves"—not quite worth the effort of context switching—suddenly become trivial to try.
Someone mentions a customer win in Slack? "@quotient turn this into a case study" takes five seconds. Product team shares an update? "@quotient draft social posts announcing this" happens instantly. A rough campaign idea surfaces? "@quotient sketch out a campaign plan" gives you a structured brief to discuss.
The barrier to execution drops so low that you start capturing marketing opportunities you would have previously let slip by.
Built The Right Way
We spent time getting the details right. The integration uses Slack's official AI assistant API, so typing indicators and threaded responses work exactly as you'd expect. OAuth is secure and standard. User mapping happens automatically. Error handling is graceful—if something goes wrong, the agent tells you clearly what happened.
We also made sure the formatting stays native to Slack. Agents don't output markdown artifacts or weird formatting. The responses use Slack's mrkdwn formatting and look like they belong in your workspace.
Available Now
The Slack integration is live for all Quotient users. If you're already using Quotient, go to Settings > Integrations to connect your Slack workspace. If you're new to Quotient and want to try this, sign up for our beta and you'll get access to Slack integration along with the full platform.
Marketing work happens in conversations. Now those conversations actually do the work.
